Anderson Cannon runs business operations for Karen Cannon, Realtors, but it is his passion for design, coupled with his experience in home renovation that makes him an invaluable asset to the firm’s clients and differentiates Karen Cannon, Realtors from other real estate companies. Anderson serves as the in-house inspection specialist, guiding clients and their agents through the process and interpreting their inspection reports to identify issues and assess risk. In addition, he uses his construction background to help buyers envision the potential for updates in older homes.
In addition to lending clients his expertise in the inspection phase, Anderson is the company expert on real estate contracts, oversees escrow accounts and daily operations. He ensures the company and agents are always compliant with Georgia real estate law, follow the rules and standards set forth by the Georgia Real Estate Commission and abide by the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics. Anderson also continues to strengthen the business by implementing and overseeing new technologies that further client service and company efficiency.
Anderson realized his love for architecture early and took drafting and design classes in high school before pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Georgia Southern University. He started his own remodeling business in the 1990s which led to a joint venture in real estate investing and eventually led to the creation of Karen Cannon Realtors.
In his free time, Anderson enjoys golfing (wishful thinking), spending time with his family and is known throughout his neighborhood as a master griller. He is a former competitive water skier, avid wind surfer, sailor and snow skier. Anderson has volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America and is a member of the All Saints Catholic Church Men’s Club.
